General House Rules for Guests:
Security Deposit: $200/cottages; $200/house due within 24 hours of receiving invoice via email. All payments are made through QuickBooks—no personal financial information is ever shared with Winding River Cottages.
Pet Surcharge: $50.00/dog per stay. Outside clean-up is expected. Emotional support animals, which are different from service animals, incur the pet fee. Service animals do not.

-All events must be pre-approved by host.
Cleaning Fee: $100.00/cottages; $150/house
Check-In Time: 3:00 p.m. or after. Self check-in with code for keypad.
Check-Out Time: Before 10 a.m.
Early check-in or late check-out are only possible if the booking calendar allows as we have many back-to-back bookings. Requests must be approved on a case-by-case basis and we often cannot confirm this until 24-48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.
Cancellation Policy: The security deposit is non-refundable if the reservation has to be cancelled completely, at any time, for any reason. If the dates just need to be changed, but the reservation remains, the security deposit would still apply to your reservation.
For a full refund (100%) of the nightly rate, guest must cancel at least 30 full days prior to the local check-in time.
For a 75% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel at least 21 full days prior to the local check-in time.
For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel at least 14 full days prior to the local check-in time.
For a 25% refund of the nightly rate, guest must cancel at least 7 full days prior to the local check-in time.
If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.
No Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in any of the buildings. Smoking is allowed outside only. All cigarette butts should be disposed of properly. Smoiing includes vaping, e-cigarettes, hookas, and other forms of smoking.
Quiet Times: Quiet times are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. each day. Please be respectful of other guests and neighbors.
Sleeping Accommodations: The cottages each have a queen bed, a futon that opens into a full-size bed, and a bunk bed with full-size mattresses. The house has 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 1 futon that open into a full-size bed. Please let us know at least 48-hours prior to arrival if you would like the futon made up for sleeping.
Minimum Age: The majority of guests must be over 25 years old.
Terms and Conditions/Indemnification: For good and valuable considerations, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Renter hereby expressly agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Winding River Cottages on the Menominee, LLC Company’s agents, servants, successors, heirs, executors, administrators, and personal representatives against all suits, actions, claims, demands, or damages that arise out of Renter’s use, misuse, or abuse of property located at N4194 State Highway 180, Marinette, WI and/or property located at W2339 Twin Pine Lane, Porterfield, WI.
Any payment made toward this reservation constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
